Upgrade Reset to Default Client Installation Settings?

I need a solution

I upgraded my SEPM from version 11.0.5 to 12.1.5 and working towards upgrading the clients to SEP 12.  I noticed that under Clients->Install Packages when I "Edit Client Install Package Properties", all of my packages have Install Settings set to "Default Client Installation Settings".  Anyone know whether the SEPM upgrade might've reset this because I don't recall if I had set any of my custom client install settings on our client groups or not?

Guess what I don't remember when I upgraded our clients from SAVCE to SEP 11 is whether I had shown the Progress Bar or not.  A couple of my custom client install settings are set to run silently which led me to wonder whether I originally had these applied to my client groups, or if I had just used these for SEP client deployments via Altiris.  Tough when you don't document stuff (hehe).

Kind of leaning towards a completely silent upgrade and suppressing any reboots but wasn't sure if doing this leaves the machine unprotected until it is restarted.  There also has to be different considerations when upgrading servers versus workstations so would appreciate any input you guys might have on how I can best handle this upgrade to SEP 12; especially when it comes to the Restart Settings.  Thanks in advance!
